Elyse Pomeranz Guardian Spirits of Nature telesummit

Elyse Pomeranz works as a mentor within the Waldorf system of education. She works with teachers in schools in different countries. She has been a class teacher in two schools in the Toronto area .She has completed the Arscura School of Living Art programs in Art Therapy: Art Capacities for Life and also in  Biography Counseling. She is part of an international community of biography workers.  She has completed a two year part time Biodynamic and Sustainable Beekeeping training at Spikenard Honeybee Sanctuary in Virgina, USA. ( She has been researching beekeeping practices in various countries since then) The work in education, art therapy, biography and beekeeping is based out of the impulses introduced in the early 1900’s by Austrian, Rudolf Steiner.

Elyse also has completed a two year schooling in Geomancy with Marko and Ana Pogacnik and participates in an international group called LifeNet working with the living consciousness of the Earth and Nature beings. Elyse’s formal education includes film and photography at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and general sciences at the University of Toronto. She works as a craftswoman/artist and has produced works of wearable felt art , fiber based sculpture, beaded jewelry, etching and painting which has been shown and sold across Canada.

She creates ceremony and ritual for all stages of life ( birth, marriage, coming of age, death). She is experienced as a  group facilitator and mediator. All of this work has bearing on and enriches her current work of communication and conversations in art with trees. She has 160  color ink drawings made out of encounters with trees as old as 2,000 years old in Sweden, Ireland, Wales, England, Slovenia, Spain, Guatemala, Canada and the USA ( over the last four years). She hopes to continue this research indefinitely as it continues to be full of revelation and inspiration!
