I’ve been aware of and interested in the elemental world forever. Even as a young child I knew of the existence of “other beings,” however talking about my experiences and looking for others that could shed more light on the what’s out there met with great resistance, fear and many dead ends.

About 14 years ago I discovered that 100 years earlier Rudolph Steiner had spoken and written about the elemental world. It was a way to introduce people of that time to the concept of other beings and the multidimentionality of the universe. One day while looking through a Steiner Books catalog I turned the page and a book jumped off the page at me, it wasNature Spirits and Elemental Beings by Marko Pogacnik. Yes, finally someone with answers! After devouring the book I determined I needed to study with this man. The following year I took a 4 day workshop with him which confirmed that fact, this man was to be one of my teachers. I’ve been studying with him, using many of his techniques and developing my own ever since.

About a year later I was in a bookstore looking at all the books I wanted, but couldn’t afford, when a woman’s voice came from behind me. She said “This is the book you should read” and as I looked her in the eyes she handed me a copy of Summer with the Leprechauns by Tanis Helliwell. I glanced at the book, turned back to her to thank her, but she had disappeared, no more the 5 seconds had passed.

After devouring Summer with the Leprechauns I determined I must meet Tanis. I kept checking her website to see when she was going to do a workshop in the US, there weren’t any. I determined I’d have to go to Germany, or her retreat center north of Vancouver if this was ever going to happen. Then I discovered someone in Connecticut was hosting a private workshop. I begged him to let me in and he finally agreed. When I walked into the room with Tanis I recognized someone I’d known before, a beloved, glorious, brilliant being whose wisdom is deep and rich. I also had an opportunity to meet “the Leprechaun” she works with for the first time. “What a guy!”

Most of the “spiritual work” I do is either one on one, or with small groups as people come forth and ask. There has never been a time when the Elemental Beings did not make their presence known to even the most stubborn doubter. This is an extraordinary journey!
